3. Compatibility: The HPE LTO 8 tape is backward compatible with LTO-7 tape drives, allowing you to read and write LTO-7 tapes. However, it cannot be used with older generation LTO tape drives.
4. Encryption: The tape supports AES 256-bit hardware encryption, which enables secure storage and protection of sensitive data. Encryption is performed in real-time during the data transfer process.
